Fatboy Slim brings the biggest crowd yet
What a night! On Wednesday 22nd July, Dukes Lane welcomed Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, to The Brighton Box Gallery for an exclusive signing event celebrating his collaboration with Pepita Coffee and Brighton artist Emily Bowyer.
The lane was buzzing as visitors enjoyed exclusive artwork, live DJs, late-night shopping and fantastic food and drink from our independent businesses, creating a truly memorable evening.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success.
Celebrating Brighton Pride on the Lane
On Sunday 2nd August, Dukes Lane will join in the celebrations for one of Brighton’s biggest weekends, with Brilliant Brighton hosting an afternoon of free entertainment from 12pm to 4pm as Pride comes to the Lane. Visitors will be treated to vibrant performances from Lovinia Belle, alongside uplifting sets from The Actually Gay Men’s Chorus, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and Pride goers of all ages.
Beyond the entertainment, Dukes Lane offers a calmer, still celebratory corner of the Pride weekend. Somewhere to pause between the parade and the parties. Visitors can commemorate their trip with a piece of artwork from either of the Lane’s LGBTQ+ founded art shops. They Made This, which “Brighton Is For Everyone” print takes its design from competition winner Evergood’s Brighton mural, and The Brighton Box, whose Hello Brighton piece makes for a colourful memento of the weekend.
Pepsi’s ice cream pop-up: 8th & 9th August
Rounding off the summer, Pepsi are bringing something new to Dukes Lane on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August. An exclusive ice cream pop-up, serving up flavour combinations you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a playful, refreshing addition to the courtyard, and a great excuse to make a day of it alongside Dukes Lane’s independent boutiques and cafés.
