Rock the Frock Returns To Dukes Lane
08 / 11 / 21Calling all budding brides! Rock the Frock is the UK’s leading boutique for the modern bride. It was founded by Karen Whybro after frustration with the lack of alternative bridal wear in her own wedding journey back in 2011. Rock the Frock’s unique combination of bridal wear and fashion leaves clients with a fabulous selection of exclusive designs, all ethically made and sourced from around the world. From boho wedding dresses to colourful separates, brides travel across the country to experience Rock the Frock’s unique collection.
The Brighton boutique features incredible styles from alternative to modern elegance, and holds unique pieces from several designers including Leanne Marshall, Lucy Can’t Dance, and Otaduy.
The Designers
Leanne Marshall
Leanne’s ethereal designs are recognisable for their flowing lines, feminine details and timeless elegance. They are designed for the bride who wants a dress that will showcase but not overshadow her beauty. With each dress handcrafted in the US using the highest quality fabrics, their impressive standards, flattering silhouettes and unique designs have made Leanne Marshall’s gowns a go-to for the modern bride.
Lucy Can’t Dance
Lucy Can’t Dance offers quirky wedding dresses for non-traditional brides. Alternative, boho, and vintage-inspired styles, Lucy’s designs feature splashes of colour, beautiful lace and intricate detail resulting in an elegant style with eccentric twist. Lucy herself says that her collections are “usually for people who don’t like wedding dresses”. While that may have been the starting point, it’s safe to say that these dresses cater for every bride looking for a unique look!
Otaduy
Otaduy is a new concept of wedding dresses inspired by music, movies and art. Otaduy’s founder, Carolina, is inspired by different moments, experiences, and feelings, meaning each collection is unique with its own body and soul. Caronlina’s dresses are cool, distinctive and beautifully handmade with love by highly skilled women in Barcelona.
The Rock the Frock Brighton boutique is intimate but beautiful. It holds a carefully curated collection of stunning bridal wear and a small range of sample gowns to take away on the day too.
