Founded in 2014 by founder Nisha Katona, Mowgli was born for people to discover how Indians eat at home and on their streets.

Their menu features a variety of small plates, curries, biryanis, and tiffin boxes that are inspired by the vibrant flavours and spices of Indian cuisine. Mowgli’s dishes are made using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and are designed to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. With locations across the UK, Mowgli has become a popular destination for those looking to experience the bold and exciting flavours of Indian street food.

Set inside its pink walls, you will find their signature twinkle, trees, and swings to give you an Indian home from home. It was named Mowgli Street Food because of the same aromas fusing across street food hawker stalls in cities across India. Freshly cooked every morning and packed with rousing flavour, their dishes are zingy, light and golden.

Mowgli are supporting Chestnut Treehouse Charity, a children’s hospice for Sussex and South East Hampshire, which provides care for around 300 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions every year.

In 2018 Mowgli was awarded a placement in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list, and Nisha Katona (founder) was recognised with an MBE in the 2019 New Year Honours list for services to the Food Industry.
