The nights may be drawing in, but this October Dukes Lane is bringing a splash of art and culture in celebration of Brighton's creative spirit! Host to an exciting line-up of talented artists and photographers, visitors can experience a taste of something different.

The Line-Up

Brighton Photo Biennial 2018 
28th September – 28Th october

Curated by the prestigious Photoworks, the Brighton Photo Biennial returns 28 September – 28 October across Brighton & Hove, exhibiting eighteen artists over eight venues each exploring this year’s theme ‘A New Europe’. 23 Dukes Lane is home to artist Hrair Sarkissian showcasing his emotive work ‘Homesick’. Celebrate the launch on Friday 28th September between 6 – 9pm.  All welcome!

Sinna One and Friends
4th October – 14th October

Dukes Lane’s permanent pop-up venue at number 11 is showing a variety of work throughout October, kick-starting with Sinna One and Friends from 4th October.

Renowned muralist Sinna One, whose work is heavily influenced by music, comics, sci-fi, and graffiti culture, has been colouring Brighton’s streets for over 10 years. This one-week pop-up is a showcase of local creative talent selling prints and originals straight from the studio to the gallery. Dukes Lane Collective 
17th October – 28th October

In celebration of the Brighton Photo Fringe, Dukes Lane Collective – a group of five Brighton-based photographers – will exhibit a unique and diverse collaboration entitled ‘Deviation’ from 17th October. For 10 days only, and not to be missed, find at 11 Dukes Lane.

Aster Reem David Photography
31st October – 5th November

Aster is a UK based artist using photography and writing as therapeutic tools to explore the themes of personal memory, identity, and subjective issues surrounding mental health. Exhibiting her latest collection ‘Alternative Canada’ and more you can visit her one-week show from 31st October to 5th November.
